Julen Fonseca Gatzagaetxebarria is a senior associate in the Labor and Employment practice, having spent his entire professional career at Garrigues.
He has extensive experience in litigation in both the labor and judicial review jurisdictions, in a wide range of matters relating to labor and social security law.
He provides recurring advice to Spanish companies in the public and private sectors, as well as to international companies, on: hiring, individual and collective dismissals, disciplinary proceedings, suspension of contracts and modification of working conditions, senior management, expatriate workers and social security matters.
He has been a permanent member of the teaching staff of the Aranzadi Labor forum in Vitoria-Gasteiz since 2015, in the area of legislative developments in labor and social security law.
