Juana María Pardo Pardo holds a Doctor of Law in Corporate/Commercial Law from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and has been a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution: Litigation and Arbitration department of Garrigues in Madrid since 2006. She specializes in advising companies on corporate defense and compliance, and also in connection with actions for liability against directors. Juana Maria Pardo Pardo has degrees in law and business administration (having obtained special distinction in both), and a doctor of laws from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Cum Laude). She not only collaborates as speaker at numerous courses and seminars but also trains continuously, having completed, for example, the advanced specialist course in restructuring and insolvency at Universidad Carlos III from Madrid in 2023.

Author of the monograph “El nuevo régimen de responsabilidad de los administradores de empresas insolventes” (The New Rules on Director Liability at Insolvent Companies), published by Editorial Bosch in 2015 and has participated in various conferences and seminars on this subject.
Co-director of the work “Defensa Corporativa y Compliance” (Corporate Defence and Compliance) in 2019 and co-author of various books and manuals, including “Derecho de sociedades y crisis empresarial” (Company Law and Financial Distress), “Marco jurídico de la empresa” (The corporate legal framework) and “Fundamentos de Derecho Empresarial” (Fundamentals of Business Law), all published by Editorial Civitas-Aranzadi.
She has also authored numerous academic articles in specialist journals, particularly in the area of compliance, corporate defense, actions for liability against directors and practical issues in civil and commercial processes and in connection with evidence in which she has recently participated in an international conference on the subject. The most recent include her participation in the work “Retos de la prueba en el proceso digital” (The challenges posed by evidence in digital processes) published in 2024 or her participation as a speaker at the International Probaticius Conference in 2025.
