José Manuel Fariñas is a counsel in the Restructuring and Insolvency practice.
He has extensive experience in restructuring processes, advising companies seeking to refinance their business debt and access new financing, as well as creditors and distressed investors, both in nonjudicial processes and insolvency proceedings.

The multidisciplinary nature of the restructuring and insolvency team has enabled him to acquire both expertise and experience in a wide range of corporate/commercial and litigation matters typically involved in business restructuring processes.

Law degree, Universidad de Navarra.
Master’s Degree in Legal Counseling (MAJ), Instituto de Empresa (Madrid).
Teaching activities:
In recent years he has taught classes and given lectures on his areas of expertise in various professional and academic forums, including the Spanish Accounting and Business Administration Association (AECA) and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
