José Manuel Fariñas is a principal associate in the Restructuring and Insolvency practice.
He has extensive experience in restructuring processes, advising companies seeking to refinance their business debt and access new financing, as well as creditors and distressed investors, both in nonjudicial processes and insolvency proceedings.
The multidisciplinary nature of the restructuring and insolvency team has enabled him to acquire both expertise and experience in a wide range of corporate/commercial and litigation matters typically involved in business restructuring processes.
José Manuel Fariñas has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 2001 (member no. 69.315).
In recent years he has taught classes and given lectures on his areas of expertise in various professional and academic forums, including the Spanish Accounting and Business Administration Association (AECA) and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
