Jaime is a member of the team specializing in financial institutions and financial products, with extensive experience in the taxation of financial institutions, fintech, and private equity entities. He specializes in the regulatory framework governing reporting obligations applicable to financial institutions and monitors the implementation in Spain of the DAC8 Directive on crypto-asset reporting obligations and the FASTER Directive on faster and safer relief of excess withholding taxes.

He provides ongoing tax advice to large domestic and international corporate groups, with a particular focus on tax consolidation groups across various sectors, including financial services, advertising and media, consumer goods, engineering and industrial, among others.

He regularly advises on private equity and M&A and corporate restructuring transactions, participating in tax due diligence processes and in the design and implementation of investment and divestment structures in Spain.
