Jabier Gómez Miralles is a principal associate in the practice areas of Administrative Law, Planning and Zoning, and Environmental. He is also part of the Energy practice area.
He has extensive experience in providing assistance to companies across all regulated industries, particularly the energy industry. He has advised electricity and gas companies on numerous regulatory matters (permits, reorganizations and the acquisition of assets and holdings). In general, as regards public law, he advises Spanish and foreign companies and authorities on matters relating to energy, public procurement, environment, public property, national defense, town planning, coasts, public procurement, public property, penalty proceedings, subsidies, infrastructures, transports, national defense, private security, tobacco markets, residues, health, food safety, consumers or tortious liability. In the litigation field, he represents clients before the judicial review courts and the Constitutional Court.
He is an associate lecturer at Universidad de Alcalá and collaborating lecturer at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, on the “Regulated Industries” course, as well as at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Escuela de Práctica Jurídica), in the Master in Law of "Regulated Economic Industries", and coach of the contentious-administrative practice in the Master of Access to Law at Unive
