Isabel Enríquez Matas is a principal associate in the Administrative, Planning and Zoning and Environmental Law Department of Garrigues, having joined the firm in 2003.

She has 20 years’ experience in advising public sector entities, companies, public law corporations and third sector organizations on all matters relating to administrative law.

In particular, she is noted for her expertise in advising individuals, commercial companies and all types of public entities on administrative proceedings (especially penalty proceedings) and on judicial review proceedings at all levels.

Isabel also has proven experience in providing advice in relation to actions by the public authorities (at local, regional and state level) in relation to consumer goods (defense and protection of consumer rights and retail trade).

She also extensive experience in sectors subject to strict administrative regulation: gaming, tobacco, transportation, mining, etc.

Over her professional career at the firm, she has participated in large and highly complex projects and garnered expertise in preparing draft legislation, both primary and secondary, at regional and state level.

Degree in Law and Business Administration, Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE E-3).

Isabel has taught classes and participated in mentoring programs and as a panel member of prestigious teaching institutions and universities (Centro de Estudios Garrigues, ICADE, Universidad Carlos III) and is a regular speaker at numerous conferences and seminars on public law, particularly in relation to consumer goods and penalty proceedings, organized by specialist entities and centers (Unidad Editorial, IFAES, ANEPE).

Isabel Enríquez Matas is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
