Isabel Cortés Pulido is a senior associate in the Tax practice area of Garrigues.
She has been pursuing her professional career in Garrigues since 2008. As a tax law specialist, she focuses in particular on tax proceedings and taxation issues relating to the real estate sector.
As a member of the tax disputes group, she frequently represents the taxpayer before the different Spanish Courts (the Supreme Court, the National Appellate Court, etc.) in appeal proceedings against the tax authorities.
She has participated in tax counseling engagements and in the execution of major real estate transactions, as well as investment and divestment transactions, of both individual assets and portfolios of assets. She has also participated in numerous processes for the restructuring and refinancing of companies forming part of real estate groups. She has collaborated in the design and analysis, from the tax perspective, of processes for the refinancing of company debt, particularly that of real estate companies.
She has considerable experience in the provision of tax advisory services to companies in the food and distribution sectors.
She regularly speaks at seminars and conferences organized by the Firm.
She is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
