Helena is a senior associate of the tax department in Barcelona's office since 2021. She joined Garrigues in 2014. 

She provides ongoing tax advice to multinational companies and large consolidated tax groups that operate in different sectors (pharmaceutical, food and beverages, real estate and education). This includes advice concerning Corporate Income Tax, VAT, local taxes, withholdings and environmental taxes.

She specializes in international tax law, providing tax advice to foreign investors and to Spanish business groups in relation to their internationalization processes. Likewise, she actively participates in M&A processes as well as Due Diligence procedures.

In 2019, Helena worked in William Fry, S.L.P, law firm based in Ireland. She provided tax advice to Irish investors in relation to their investments in Spain. She also participated in projects related to Irish tax law, mainly in relation to BEPS.

She works as a professor in IQS University (Institut Químic de Sarrià) since 2023. She lectures Spanish tax law in the business management degree.
