Héctor Muñoz is a partner of the Real Estate Law Department at Garrigues, having joined the Firm in 1998, where he has pursued his entire professional career. He has broad experience in all aspects of commercial property, development, construction, sales and acquisitions, financing, joint ventures and leasing, and deals with all kind of properties. Has advised in numerous transactions involving the acquisition of office buildings, shopping malls, hotels, leisure parks, industrial plants, homes for senior citizens, etc., as well as development and real estate investment companies. He acts for a wide range of clients, including national and international investors, real estate investment funds, development and construction companies, financial institutions, industrial corporations, retail and hotel operators, as well as corporate clients and local companies.
He has extensive experience in negotiating urban lease agreements, construction contracts, agreements with technicians (project management, engineering, etc.), real estate financing agreements, management agreements, marketing agreements and administration agreements.
He also works with a range of financial institutions on processes to acquire properties as a result of refinancing or foreclosure and on the management of their real estate assets and divestment.

He lectures at Instituto de Empresa on the Master’s Degree in Real Estate Company Management.
Héctor Muñoz is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
Héctor Muñoz received his Law degree from Univesidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid, 1995.
