Francisco Javier Bosch Minguet is principal associate of the Commercial Law Department of Garrigues, where he exercises his professional activity since the year 2012.
He is specialized in banking and finance deals and has an extensive experience in advising lenders and debtors on all kinds of finance and refinancing transactions, including corporate and project finance transactions. He also advises sponsors and financial institutions in contractual matters related with the development of projects, mainly in the renewable energies sector.
He holds a Degree in Law and a Degree in Economics and Business Studies from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE), where he was awarded the Extraordinary end-of-Degree Prize for both degrees, an LL.M. from Harvard University and is admitted to the New York Bar. Besides, he is scholar of the “la Caixa” Banking Foundation, lecturer in law at the Masters of Corporate Law of ICADE and of the Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
In 2019 he was awarded the Best Young Attorney Prize ("Premio a Mejor Abogado Joven") of the year by Expansión Jurídico.
Experience
Francisco Javier Bosch Minguet is principal associate of the Commercial Law Department of Garrigues since the year 2023 and he joined the firm back in 2012.
He has an extensive experience in advising lenders and debtors on all kinds of finance and refinancing transactions, including:
- Project financing and refinancing transactions in the infrastructures and renewable enrgies sectors, both in Spain and abroad, with Spanish and foreign sponsors and with national and international financing entities and institutional investors.
- Financing and refinancing transactions granted to corporations and private equity funds dedicated to such varied fields as automotive industry, sports, advertising, renewable energies, research and development of medical equipment.
He also provides legal advice to sponsors and financial institutions on contractual matters related to project development, mainly in the renewable energy sector.
Likewise, he holds the office of vice-secretary of the board of directors of several companies from the medical and advertising sectors and assists such companies and their investors on contractual and corporate law matters.
He is fluent in English and Spanish.
