Eva Díez-Ordás is a partner in the Labor and Employment Law practice.
Among other fields, she specializes in advising domestic and international companies from both the private and public sectors on labor law, social security and occupational risk prevention matters. Her areas of expertise include:
Legal assistance and representation of companies in all kinds of court proceedings (individual or collective) relating to labor and social security issues, in and at all of their phases and levels.
Technical and advisory assistance in the following areas:
Collective proceedings (collective layoffs, collective agreements, etc.), including the analysis of the legal requirements, the conduct of the proceedings, advising on, and acting in, negotiations, the design of relations with labor union representatives, dispute resolution, etc.
Hiring, senior management, disciplinary rules, labor union elections, strikes, working hours, wages, modifications to working conditions, periods of leave, etc.
Labor law implications of acquisitions, mergers, absorptions, spin-offs and business successions. Assistance with the drafting of the agreement and the negotiation of the conditions. Labor law due diligence reviews.
She is also an Occupational Risk Prevention Technician (specialized in industrial hygiene and safety in the workplace).
She is a regular speaker in seminars and conferences organized by the Firm and myriad specialized centers. Participation in the Firm’s in-house training courses.
She is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
Academic background:
Degree in Law (2000) and in Business Administration and Management (2001), Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE E-3).
