Cristóbal Quero is a lawyer in the Dispute Resolution: Litigation and Arbitration area at Garrigues’ Santiago de Chile office. He has experience in civil and commercial dispute resolution. He also advises and represents companies in consumer protection and advertising matters, both in court and also in administrative proceedings before regulators such as the National Consumer Service.
Experience
He has experience in civil and commercial dispute resolution, participating in proceedings before ordinary and arbitration courts. He specializes in consumer law, advising and representing companies in this area, and in advertising law, both in judicial and administrative proceedings. His practice also includes proactive advisory services and the review of adhesion contracts, terms and conditions, advertising campaigns and commercial practices in accordance with consumer protection regulations.
Prior to joining Garrigues, Cristóbal was a lawyer at Barros Silva Varela & Vigil (2024-2026). Previously, he had worked as a paralegal in the Consumer and Advertising Law group at Carey y Cía. (2021–2023) and was also a trainee at the National Defense Council and at the Constitutional Court (2021).
He is a member of the Consumer Law Program in the Faculty of Law at Universidad de Chile.
He is an assistant professor in the course on Consumer Protection Regulations in the Faculty of Law at Universidad de Chile.
He is fluent in Spanish and English.
