César Acosta Criado is a partner in the Tax Department at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife office.
He specializes in tax law, providing comprehensive tax advice to business groups and SMEs.
In particular, he is an expert on all tax-related aspects of the Canary Islands Special Tax and Economic Regime as well as on tax and judicial review proceedings.
He has special experience in such industries as Tourism & Hotels, Energy, Automotive and Financial Institutions.
César is a lecturer in the MBA at Universidad Europea de Canarias (UEC) and in the Master’s in Taxation at the Bravo Murillo-Escoex Foundation.
He is also a regular speaker in seminars and conferences organized by the firm and myriad specialist centers.
He has a Degree in Law from Universidad de Granada and a Master’s in Tax Law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
He has published several articles on the Canary Islands Economic and Tax Regime in International Tax Review and in Journal of the Spanish Hotel and Tourist Accommodation Confederation, and is a regular contributor to the Canary Islands Treasury Review, published by the Treasury Department of the Canary Islands Government.

Ha publicado varios artículos especializados en relación con el Régimen Económico y Fiscal de Canarias en International Tax Review y la Revista de la Confederación Española de Hoteles y Alojamientos Turísticos, siendo colaborador permanente de la Revista Hacienda Canaria, editada por la Consejería de Hacienda del Gobierno de Canarias.
