Partner and the head of the Litigation and Arbitration Department, taking in the civil, commercial and criminal litigation practice areas, at Garrigues’ offices in Barcelona and the Balearic Islands, made up of some 35 professionals.

Specifically, she practices professionally in both civil and commercial litigation and in arbitration proceedings.

She has counseled clients, companies, entrepreneurs and individuals, defending their interests before courts and arbitration tribunals, above all on disputes in relation to corporate conflict, company sale and purchase deals, the termination and/or interpretation of all manner of civil and commercial contracts, director liability, unfair competition, real estate and construction law, etc.

On the arbitration front, she has defended her clients in proceedings before an array of renowned arbitration bodies (The ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris, the Madrid Court of Arbitration, the Barcelona Arbitration Tribunal, etc.).

She has taken part in several of Cataluña’s highest-profile refinancing processes and has headed and/or advised on major insolvency proceedings in the region, at times defending the debtor side (including the largest insolvency proceeding in 2013) and at times on behalf of creditors, whether at the pre-insolvency stage or during the proceeding itself.

She has recently played an active role in various processes to purchase productive units at companies subject to insolvency.   

She has lectured on the Master’s Degree in Business Studies organized by the School of Legal Practice at ICAB and speaks at in-house and external seminars and conferences.
