Arantxa de Luis is a counsel in the Tax practice area and forms part of the Indirect taxation (VAT and excise and special taxes) and Customs Group.
She has extensive experience in the provision of ongoing advisory services to businesses and corporate groups established in Spain, and has specialized since 2002 in indirect taxation and customs.
Within this specialist area, she provides advisory services on a recurrent basis to companies in a variety of sectors—including most notably the textile, pharmaceutical, toy, tobacco, energy, air and sea navigation and distribution sectors—participating directly in reviews and investigations and economic-administrative and judicial review proceedings in these areas.
She is also a lecturer on the Master's Degree and Executive programs run by Centro de Estudios Garrigues, in association with Universidad Antonio de Nebrija, and frequently speaks at seminars and conferences organized by the Firm and by specialist centers (including CEF, UDIMA and TARIC) on matters relating to VAT, Excise and Special Taxes and Customs.
She is a member of the Sevilla Association of Economists.
