Andrés Ignacio Martín joined the firm in 2012 and was promoted to principal associate in 2022.

He has extensive experience in financial distress scenarios, business and financial restructuring processes, insolvency and pre-insolvency proceedings , especially in providing advice on transaction for the sale and purchase of assets, debts, distressed businesses and production units.

He has also amassed broad expertise in the defense and protection of claims, rights, guarantees and contractual positions with debtors in pre-insolvency or insolvency situations, and in the implementation of strategies aimed at maximizing recovery.

He acts as business partner of the Restructuring and Insolvency Department in relation to the firm’s Innovation and Digitalization Sub-Committee.

He has been teaching insolvency law to law degree students at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos since 2015 and is a speaker at seminars on insolvency and pre-insolvency law
