Andrés Eugenio specializes in tax consulting. His practice is focused on advising, planning and handling tax audits. He has worked primarily in the monitoring of applications for refunds of value added tax balances in favor of companies in the automotive and real estate sectors. He also has experience in corporate restructuring processes at entities located in territories with preferential tax regimes, preparation of tax calculations and of tax cost of shares, handling reviews carried out by the tax authorities and compliance with tax legislation.

Andrés Eugenio Cantú González is an associate in the Tax practice, where he has monitored applications for refunds of value added tax for companies from different industries in Mexico, such as the automotive, real estate and metal industries. He has also participated in corporate restructuring processes at entities located in territories with preferential tax regimes, specifically in the cosmetics sector, both in Mexico and in Central American countries.
In addition, he has worked on the determination of the tax cost of shares, for both legal entities and individuals, and has responded to various Invitation Letters sent by the Tax Administration Service in relation to the self-correction of tax operations. Likewise, he has provided services to companies in different tax procedures related to Annex 1-A of Miscellaneous Tax Rulings, such as the Notice of update of economic activities, Notice of transfer of shares between residents abroad, Request for inclusion of shareholders, and Notice of change of capital regime, among other procedures.
Andrés’s mother tongue is Spanish and he is fluent in English.
