Álvaro Fernández Dopazo has been a senior associate in the Litigation and Arbitration practice since January 2026, having joined the firm in April 2024 following a decade of experience at leading national and international law firms and a secondment at a major financial institution.

He has extensive experience in civil and commercial judicial and arbitral proceedings across a wide range of matters, including corporate disputes (such as challenges to corporate resolutions, directors’ liability and other shareholder conflicts), share purchase agreements and M&A transactions, renewable energy generation plants, distribution and agency agreements, unfair competition, construction defects, claims arising from breaches of competition law, complex financial products, consumer law, insurance contracts, professional negligence, and infringements of rights to honor, privacy and image.

He also provides ongoing advice in pre-litigation negotiations and out-of-court dispute resolution arrangements.
