Álvaro Dominguez is a principal associate in the Transfer Pricing practice area at Garrigues’ Madrid office, which he joined in 2008.
He specializes in tax law, mainly in the areas of transfer pricing and international taxation.
In particular, he has extensive experience in the diagnosis, analysis, implementation and documentation of Transfer Pricing policies within multinational groups, and the provision of advice on tax litigation procedures, Advanced Pricing Agreements with the Spanish tax authorities, and Mutual Agreement Procedures.
He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
He regularly participates as speaker in transfer pricing seminars and master’s degree programs at Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
Álvaro has a Degree in Law and Business Administration, and an Executive Master´s Degree in International Taxation from Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
He has contributed to the chapter on Spain in every edition of the “Global Guide to Transfer Pricing” published since 2013 by the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD).
Numerous articles and publications, including most notably those published in recent years in the specialist journals Estrategia Financiera (Wolters Kluwer), Legal Today and BNA Bloomberg.
