    The Financial Times and Statista Europe’s Climate Leaders 2024 ranking lists the 600 European companies that have made the most progress in reducing their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
  • The Integra Foundation gives Garrigues one of its 2024 Volunteering Awards

    The Integra Foundation has once again recognized Garrigues’ commitment, giving us one of its 2024 Volunteering Awards. It is a very special recognition dedicated to all the Firm’s volunteers who have participated in the workshops helping individuals at risk of social exclusion to recover the confidence they need to, among other things, get a job.
  • The University of Zaragoza awards Garrigues its insignia of honor from the Faculty of Economics and Business

    Last week, the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Zaragoza awarded its insignia of honor to Garrigues. The award is in recognition of the firm's longstanding collaboration with the institution for almost 35 years, which has resulted in our participation in the training programs provided by the Family Business Chair, the promotion and development of the Garrigues Chair in Law and Business at the University of Zaragoza (the first in Spain in the field of law and business), and the promotion of practical training for students focusing on orientation and training in professional practice.

    The Legal 500 has published its first ever Legal 500 Global Green Guide, which showcases the firms with an outstanding contribution to the green transition. Garrigues is one of the three Spanish firms selected from 200 submissions for the list.
  • FESBAL honors Garrigues with the 2020 Espiga de Oro award for Commitment

    The Spanish Federation of Food Banks (FESBAL) honored Garrigues with the 2020 Espiga de Oro award for Commitment at an event held at CaixaForum in Madrid, which was presided over by Luis Planas, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. Garrigues’ executive chairman Fernando Vives collected the award from FESBAL President Pedro Llorca.

  • Garrigues Mexico: Socially Responsible Enterprise for the sixth consecutive year

    ​​​​​​​The Garrigues office in México has, for the sixth consecutive year, received the Empresa Socialmente Responsable (ESR® 2021) award granted by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía or Cemefi) and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility (Alianza por la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial or AliaRSE) to enterprises that comply satisfactorily with the standards established in the areas of corporate social responsibility.
  • Garrigues participates in the Climate Ambition Accelerator, the United Nations Global Compact’s emissions reduction initiative

    Garrigues has joined other participants in the United Nations Global Compact - the largest business sustainability initiative worldwide - in supporting the Climate Ambition Accelerator. Using science-based targets, the program will enable emissions to be halved by 2030 and net-zero emissions to be achieved by 2050.
