Garrigues has brought onboard the lawyer Ignacio Campino at its Santiago de Chile office as a partner in the Tax Department. Ignacio Campino has nearly 20 years’ experience advising Chilean and international enterprises on tax and asset-related matters.

Before joining Garrigues, Ignacio Campino worked at several renowned firms in Chile, always focused on providing tax and asset-related advice to companies. He is a graduate of Pontifica Universidad Católica de Chile and holds an LL.M in Taxes from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Javier Ybáñez, partner in charge of Garrigues’ Latin American practice, asserts that “Ignacio’s experience will be highly relevant for the firm in these times of reform in the region, in addition to bolstering the tax practice, which is already very strong under Oscar Ferrari’s management”.

Luis Felipe Merino, partner in charge of the Santiago office, underscores that “Ignacio has extensive experience and is an excellent lawyer. His arrival at Garrigues will enhance our advisory services for clients in the tax field, an area currently in high demand in Chile”.

For Ignacio Campino, his joining Garrigues entails “a great honor and the challenge of contributing with my experience to a leading firm in tax advisory services”.

With this appointment, the firm continues to bolster its practice in Latin America through its offices in Bogotá (Colombia), Lima (Peru) and Mexico City (Mexico), as well as in Santiago de Chile.
