Garrigues’ revenues grow 9.51% in 2025, to €527.69 million

With an increase of €45.84 million over the year, the firm sets a new record and marks its 12th consecutive year of growth

Garrigues has once again broken its own record, posting 2025 revenue of €527.69 million, up €45.84 million (9.51%) on the previous year. The firm, ranked first in the EU in terms of billings, has achieved 12 consecutive years of growth.

Revenue in Spain, its core market, rose 4.28% to €437.15 million, while international revenue soared 44.49% to €90.54 million. The international business (Garrigues has 32 offices in 12 countries across 4 continents) accounts for 17.16% of total revenue. The firm’s two main markets outside of Spain, Latin America and Portugal, both saw double-digit growth over the year.

Fernando Vives, executive chairman of Garrigues, acknowledges that 2025 was a strong year for the firm. “Thanks to the trust placed in us by our clients, the dedication of our team and the consolidation of our strategy, we have succeeded in increasing revenue even more than in previous years. Our goal is not growth for growth’s sake, but rather to ensure solid, profitable growth that enables us to continue offering the best possible service, to have the best professionals and to invest in everything we consider to be strategic, such as our digital transformation. We are confident we can continue this trend in 2026.”

The main practice areas saw revenue growth in the year. Corporate and M&A continues to be the largest contributor to revenues (32.59%), followed by Tax (29.31%), Dispute Resolution: Litigation and Arbitration (12.60%), Labor and Employment (12.16%) and Administrative and Constitutional Law (7.78%).

In the last five years, investment in technology and digitalization has topped €75 million, driven by a three-fold objective: to provide clients with tailor-made digital environments in order to enhance traditional services and offer new ones, to incorporate an AI strategy to strengthen the firm’s competitive edge, and to improve operating efficiency through process automation and digitalization.

Of the milestones reached in 2025, three in particular stand out: the integration of Mexican firm Sánchez Devanny, the relocation of the head office in Madrid to Torres Colón, and the culmination of the 2023-2025 Sustainability Plan. The first has positioned Mexico, a country with huge potential, as the firm’s second-largest market. The second involved a move to a modern, landmark building that meets all the requirements to deliver the best service to clients. The third has enabled the firm to establish a roadmap to advance key environmental, social and governance objectives.

Moreover, g-digital, Garrigues’ digital business division, has developed a suite of solutions in 2025 covering the entire digital trust cycle and the digital infrastructure required for legal certainty. g-digital is a key driver in diversifying the firm’s activities in an increasingly digital landscape, through the development of products and services co-designed by technical experts and the firm’s lawyers.

For its part, G-advisory, Garrigues’ specialist energy and sustainability consulting subsidiary, celebrated its 25th anniversary. Over the years, it has carried out projects in over 40 countries across five continents for the private sector, public authorities, industry associations and multilateral institutions, among many other clients.
