José Manuel Martín
José Manuel Martín has been a partner in the Commercial Law Department since 2003 and is one of the partners in charge of the private equity group.
He is an expert in commercial law, specifically corporate law and M&A. He has participated in numerous M&A transactions, reorganizations and private equity operations, covering a broad range of industries. He has advised many of the major national and international funds that operate in the private equity industry and has been involved in some of the largest transactions to take place in Spain in recent years.
He also has a wealth of experience in providing corporate advice, an area in which he is a recognized expert, and has participated in numerous joint venture operations and corporate reorganizations involving multinational groups. Moreover, he acts as board secretary to many companies.
Most of the international legal directories, such as Chambers&Partners, Legal 500, Best Lawyers and European Legal Experts, have identified him as an outstanding lawyer in the private equity and corporate/M&A practice areas.
Lecturer in corporate law on the Business Law Master’s Degree at the Centro Europeo de Estudios y Formación Empresarial.
He has lectured for several years on the Corporate Law Associate’s Degree offered by the Madrid Bar Association.
