Ismael Viejo González
Ismael is a senior associate in the Labor and Employment Law Department at Garrigues’ Madrid office, where he has practiced law since 2007.
Throughout his professional career at Garrigues, he has participated in numerous engagements and is currently a legal adviser with extensive experience in labor law and judicial review proceedings before the labor courts, the High Courts of Justice, and the Supreme Court, among others, as well as in providing strategic advice on labor law and HR matters to senior executives and HR managers.
He also provides ongoing advice on matters relating to the management and the labor law aspects of corporate transactions (mergers, acquisitions, outsourcing, etc.) in all of the processes arising from such transactions: reorganizations and restructurings, business successions, harmonization of collective conditions, the hiring of top executives, etc.
He is a lecturer in the Executive Master’s Program at Garrigues’ Centro de Estudios and is a regular speaker in seminars and conferences organized by different organizations and forums such as the APD.
He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
