Alejandro Huertas is a senior associate in the Litigation and Arbitration department.
He has extensive expertise in civil and corporate/commercial litigation involving contractual disputes, the sale and purchase of companies, corporate lawsuits, directors’ liability, agency and distribution, insurance, and private international law.
He also provides recurring advice on complex pre-litigation negotiations and has appeared in major court and arbitration proceedings, both nationally (CAM, CIMA) and internationally (ICC), advising companies in the banking, finance, insurance, energy, telecommunications and construction sectors.
He is the two-time winner of the National Public Speaking Award (2005 and 2006) and received the “Most promising speaker of the year” prize in the Pasarela Tournament (2007). He lectures in legal public speaking at Centro de Estudios Garrigues and is a regular participant at seminars and conferences on communication and negotiation skills.
