Rafaela Reina has been a senior associate in the Mergers and Acquisition and the Corporate Law and Commercial Contracts practices at Garrigues since March 2018. Previously, she was a senior associate at Brazilian law firm Barbosa, Müssnich & Aragão Advogados (2003-2008; 2011-2017), and an in-house lawyer at private equity firm Artesia Asset Management (2008-2010).
She has extensive experience in transactions involving the acquisition and disposal of businesses and assets, providing recurring advice on corporate law matters, domestic and cross-border restructuring transactions, and assisting foreign clients with investments in both Brazil and Portugal, as well as in Sports & Entertainment projects.
Rafaela Reina is a member of both the Portuguese and Brazilian Bar Associations.
