Daniel Lago Domínguez is a senior associate in the practice area of Litigation and Arbitration and in the practice area of Corporate Law and Commercial Contracts and is part of the Transport & Shipping industry group. He staffs the firm’s China Desk on behalf of its offices in Galicia.
He has extensive experience in providing comprehensive advice on international trade (internationalization of companies, transport contracts, shipping insurance, sale and purchase transactions, payment instruments, claims for damage to goods and customs issues, such as tariff classification, SPG and OEA) to Spanish clients with interests abroad as well as to foreign clients with interests in Spain, in both cases in the pre-litigation and litigation stages.
He advises a wide range of operators with links to the shipping and fishing industry (marketers and processors, freight forwarders, fishing vessel owners) on corporate and commercial matters and on administrative penalties.
He provided advice on the creation of the first international organization set up in Europe to conduct research in the area of nanotechnology.
He is a member of the academic board of the Master’s Degree in Shipping and Port Management (Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo-Escuela de Negocios de las Islas Canarias).
