Cintia Bernhardt is a senior associate in Garrigues' Intellectual Property practice area, focusing on the Life Sciences and Healthcare and Fashion industries.
She has extensive experience in litigation and transactions relating to patents, designs, trademarks, know-how and unfair competition, having provided advisory services to companies in the life sciences and healthcare, food and civil engineering sectors.
She also advises on matters relating to the advertising and labeling of medicines, medical devices and functional foods.
On the other hand, she regularly advises companies in the fashion industry on matters relating to the defense of their intellectual property rights. In particular, she has ample experience in anti-piracy matters, selective distribution networks and parallel imports.
Cintia is a lecturer on the Master's Degree in Innovation Management course organiseed by AENOR, on the Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Marketing course at Universidad Pompeu Fabra, and on the Master's Degree in Sports Marketing course run by Universidad Europea de Madrid and Real Madrid.
She has also collaborated as speaker at events organized by various institutions, including the Madrid Bar Association, and in various training days on the protection of intellectual property rights aimed at members of the State security and law enforcement corps.
She has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 2008.

Master's Degree in Intellectual Property from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Cintia is currently studying for a Master's Degree in Health Law at Centro de Estudios Superiores de la Industria Farmacéutica (CESIF).
