Ana Ferreira Neves is a principal associate in the IP/IT department.
She is dedicated to the digital area and has relevant experience in e-commerce, having assisted several companies in the launch of their e-commerce platforms (both B2B and B2C platforms), including online intermediary platforms, reviewing all applicable legal documents (terms and conditions of sale, return policies and all mandatory legal warnings on alternative dispute resolution entities; electronic complaints book, among others). Ana has relevant experience in consumer law (regulation on distance contracts, publicity/advertising, unfair commercial practices, reduction promotion practices, among other consumer law matters). She is currently part of the “Garrigues Digital Team” (video curriculum in https://www.garrigues.com/es_ES/garrigues-digital). She is also Member of the legal board of the Portuguese Blockchain association and member of the commission of the Digital Economy of the International Chamber of Commerce in Lisbon.
For several years she was a Principal Associate at the Competition law department of Garrigues and has extensive experience in competition law matters and commercial contracts. In this last area she continues to render assistance to clients in the negotiation and drafting of their commercial contracts, notably dealership, agency and franchising agreements.
She is a member of the Portuguese Bar association and of the Portuguese Association of Competition Lawyers (CAPDC) in which she was secretary general of the Board between 2015-2016.

Post-graduation in e-commerce at Law Faculty of the Lisbon Law University.
