Garrigues has won the award for the leading M&amp;A firm in Iberia in 2022. This accolade is given each year by *Mergermarket*, one of the top specialized global M&amp;A publications, recognizing the work of legal and financial advisers on the biggest deals of the year in Europe. This is the fourth time Garrigues has won the award.

Yesterday, *Mergermarket*, the leading provider of M&amp;A data and intelligence, announced the winners of the 2022 European M&amp;A Awards at a gala dinner in London. Over 40 prizes were awarded for creative advisory work on complex transactions. To identify the best firms, *Mergermarket* analyzes the market-leading M&amp;A league tables, taking into account both value and number of deals. An expert panel of judges then chooses the winners.

This award showcases one of Garrigues’ unique advantages: its ability to close a large number of deals that also entail high economic value, thanks to the quality of its services and its capacity to adapt to client needs in these types of transactions.
