# FT honors Garrigues as the most innovative law firm of Continental Europe

**Garrigues has received the award for the “Most Innovative Law Firm of Continental Europe’ in the ‘FT Innovative Lawyers Awards’ organized each year by the prestigious newspaper Financial Times and the specialized consultant RSG Consulting. The awards ceremony was held for the first time as a virtual gala, which accentuated the importance of the role of collaboration in a year marked by the COVID-19 public health crisis.**
“We are not capable of predicting the future, but we can prepare ourselves for all possible futures. This is the Garrigues philosophy with respect to innovation: to ensure that everyone has the right attitude and the necessary tools to enable them to face challenges and accompany our clients every day”, affirms the executive chairman of Garrigues, [**Fernando Vives**](https://www.garrigues.com/en_GB/team/fernando-vives-ruiz). “This award motivates us to continue innovating, seeking the best way to anticipate our clients’ needs and to be more efficient and creative”.
In the innovation report accompanying these awards, the *Financial Times* highlights two Garrigues projects.
