This update describes the key features of Royal Decree-Law 9/2013, intended to lay down a raft of urgent measures aimed at guaranteeing the financial stability of the Spanish electricity system. **1. CONTEXT OF THE APPROVAL OF ROYAL DECREE-LAW 9/2013** **2.
