Ignacio Pérez Valero joined Garrigues in 2003. He is currently counsel, and specializes in corporate criminal law. He has extensive experience in legal proceedings involving economic crimes, in particular corporate offenses, offenses against workers’ rights, environmental offenses, planning and zoning offenses, and tax offenses. He also provides advice on the implementation of corporate compliance programs at companies (criminal compliance).
Degree and PhD in law from Universidad de Alicante, Law Faculty, receiving the Special Award both for his law degree and for his PhD. He has lectured on criminal law at Universidad de Alicante since 1995.
He also lectures on the Master’s Degree for access to the legal profession at Universidad Cardenal Herrera CEU, and teaches several specialization courses on practicing criminal law at the Alicante Bar Association.
He has been included on the Best Lawyers list on several occasions in recognition of his work as a criminal lawyer.
He is the lawyer in charge of criminal proceedings involving corporate criminal liability, in particular: offenses against the public treasury, corporate offenses, offenses against worker rights, zoning and environmental crimes.
