Gracia María Mateos Ruiz is a senior associate in the Labor and Employment Law department.
She has a wealth of experience in litigation, assisting in dealings with the labor inspection authorities in relation to social security contribution assessments, notices of labor infringement or any other administrative proceedings in the labor jurisdiction. She provides assistance and advice in dealings with the labor and judicial review courts at all instances.
She also provides recurring advice on ordinary employment contracts; senior management; special covenants, golden parachute clauses and non-compete clauses; remuneration and compensation systems (bonus systems, flexible remuneration, share and stock options); disciplinary measures; social security registration and contributions; social security benefits and services and supplementary employee welfare programs; geographical and functional mobility; material modifications to individual working conditions; internal policies and protocols; international assignment of workers; suspension and termination of contracts, on both objective or disciplinary grounds; occupational risk prevention; collective dismissals; due diligence reviews and advice on restructuring processes; subcontracting and temporary employment agencies.
She lectures on the Executive Master’s Degree in Labor Relations at Centro de Estudios Garrigues. She also provides specific training to members of corporate labor relations and human resources departments. She has taken part in voluntary training projects for immigrants (“Know your laws”).
