Edurne Pascual Goñi is a senior associate in Garrigues’ tax practice. She has extensive experience in the provision of tax advisory services to businesses, providing advice on an ongoing basis in the areas of general direct taxation (corporate income tax, the personal taxation of shareholders, etc.) and indirect taxation (VAT, transfer and stamp tax), as well as in relation to tax proceedings and business reorganizations. In addition to her work for commercial enterprises, she has a special connection with the world of co-operatives. Edurne belongs to the firm's VAT service line. She has taught on internal courses within the firm, apart from being an academic tutor for the Advanced Course in Business Law at Centro de Estudios Garrigues. She has also spoken on tax issues at events organized by the Gipuzkoa trade association ADEGI.
Edurne Pascual is a senior associate of the Tax Department of Garrigues, having joined the firm in 2005.
She has extensive experience in providing ongoing advice on all tax-related areas to legal entities (domestic and international companies) and to individuals subject to “historical territory” legislation (Basque Country and Navarra) and “common territory” legislation (the rest of Spain). In addition to her work for commercial enterprises, Edurne has a special connection with the world of co-operatives. In her professional practice, she has participated in a diverse range of projects, including:
- Design and execution of reorganization processes.
- Tax due diligence reviews and company acquisitions.
- Tax consolidation.
- Tax inspections.
- Administrative and judicial review procedures.
- Advisory services on tax matters affecting family businesses and the tax implications thereof for the shareholders.
Edurne belongs to the firm’s VAT service line and is a member of the Basque Country Economists’ Association.
