Alberto Blasco is the partner in charge of the Labor and Employment Law Department of Garrigues in Barcelona.

He supervises both the provision of ongoing advisory services and particularly complex labor proceedings. His functions include the provision of strategic advice on labor law matters and senior management relationships to corporate HR managers. He also has extensive experience in collective bargaining and in corporate restructuring processes.

He holds a Degree in Law from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia and from Universidad Internacional de Cataluña (UIC), and has been recognized by the main domestic and international legal directories as a leading business law practitioner.

Alberto Blasco is the partner in charge of the Labor and Employment Law Department of Garrigues in Catalonia, Aragon and Balearic Islands.

He specializes in providing strategic advice on labor law and human resources matters to senior management and corporate HR managers.

Corporate restructuring transactions, outsourcing, mergers and acquisitions and processes for the standardization of working conditions.

Collective bargaining: he actively assists and supports clients in the design and preparation of the negotiation process, during the negotiation process itself, and in relation to the agreement reached and its formalization (collective labor agreements, restructuring processes, collective layoffs, suspension of contracts, material modifications to individual and collective working conditions).

Executive and senior management contracts.

Compensation systems, pay and employee benefits.

He assists in court and judicial review proceedings of a labor and social security nature, handling the preparation of the case and acting as legal counsel.
