Garrigues launches its new guides on doing business in nine different countries

Local professionals offer the essential legal information which an investor intending to do business in different jurisdictions in Europe, Latin America or Asia needs to know.

To be successful in business at international level, you need to have a proper knowledge of each country's legislation and idiosyncrasies. This includes knowing what the most usual corporate structures in a certain country are, the Social Security contributions payable in each country, and the direct and indirect tax implications for companies which decide to set up in a particular territory. These are just some of the many aspects which companies need to take into account to ensure that their investment or the business in which they decide to engage will thrive.

Garrigues has therefore published nine country guides in which it analyses the key issues to be taken into account in each jurisdiction. The countries analyzed are, specifically, Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Poland, Brazil, Portugal and China.

The guides are available in both English and Spanish and provide essential information in the corporate/commercial law, tax and labor law areas, their content having been put together by local professionals in each of the countries analyzed who have first-hand knowledge of the specific regulations applicable in each area.

Garrigues has a total of 32 offices spread across 13 different countries. 18 of these are in Spain and 14 are in other countries.
