COVID-19: Procedural and court deadlines cease to be suspended
On May 16, 2020 a new anti-crisis shield 3.0. entered into force. One of the most important amendments introduced by the shield is unsuspension of the procedural and court deadlines.
From the practical point of view it means that:
in case a term started to run before the declaration of state of epidemic emergency and it was suspended – then it continues to run starting from May 24, 2020, inclusive. To undertake any action the party will have as many days as before the declaration of epidemic emergency state.
In case a term did not started before the declaration of state of epidemic emergency – then it starts to run from May 24, 2020, inclusive.
