Compensation plans with sustainability criteria

Senior officer compensation is increasingly being linked to business sustainability. For years now, companies have tied variable compensation to specific sustainability targets and parameters generally adapted to the different levels of responsibility.

We design the structure of sustainability-based annual and multiyear variable compensation systems in line with recommendations from supervisory bodies, institutional investors and proxy advisors. We also determine the characteristics and rules regulating how these systems work.

We work with clients to define the sustainability targets linked to receipt of variable compensation to ensure their internal consistency and alignment with the company’s general objectives and to help measure progress.

We adapt mobility policies, including measures that favor sustainability as regards international business travel and the construction of tools to monitor targets.
