Víctor Rivera Calvo is a Senior Associate in the Tax Law Department at Garrigues' Valladolid office.

There, he focuses his professional activity on corporate taxation and advising national and multinational tax consolidation groups, as well as on personal taxation, succession planning and "family business" benefits, acting as a representative of taxpayers in tax proceedings (management, inspection, collection).

He is an expert in indirect taxation belonging to the firm's VAT Group, as well as having participated in numerous due diligence and corporate restructuring processes (mergers, company purchase / sale transactions...). He also has recurring experience in the field of corporate taxation in the renewable energies sector.

He is actively involved in various seminars and conferences on taxation in the field of his specialization

Víctor Rivera Calvo has developed his professional career mainly at Garrigues.

- Senior associate since January 2023.
- Associate from January 2019 to December 2022.
- He joined the firm in September 2016.

He has extensive experience in providing recurring tax advice in the area of direct and indirect taxation to companies and business groups - both family-owned and multinational - belonging to various sectors of activity (agri-food, energy, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and education, among others), including representing taxpayers in tax proceedings and providing tax advice on the application of "family business" benefits.

In the field of indirect taxation, he has extensive experience in advising groups on the application of the Special Regime for Groups of Entities, as well as advising on international trade and real estate taxation.

He also participates on a recurring basis in M&amp;A operations, carrying out tax reviews (due diligence) and the analysis and implementation of investment and divestment structures.

He is a regular speaker at different talks and conferences organized by the Firm together with different regional institutions.
