Teresa Bocos Martin is principal associate in the Commercial Department of Garrigues, where she has worked since 2006.

She specialises in the areas of Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Governance and Corporate Responsibility and Commercial Contracts and Corporate Law in the Madrid office.

She has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, as well as specialising in providing recurring advice and corporate governance advice to listed companies. She also provides recurring advice on corporate and contractual matters (distribution, agency, retail, consumer contracts, etc.), particularly advising companies in the retail sector and the automotive industry, among others.

She holds a law degree from the University of Valladolid and an Executive Master's Degree in Business and Finance for Lawyers from the Centro de Estudios Garrigues. She is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.

She has participated in the Garrigues Chair for the Modernisation of Company Law in collaboration with the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas.

Teresa Bocos is principal associate in the Commercial Law Department of Garrigues, where he has worked since 2006.

Areas of expertise:

- Mergers and Acquisitions: she regularly advises on corporate reorganisations, including mergers, spin-offs, contributions in kind, joint ventures, loan capitalisations, etc.
- Corporate Governance and Corporate Responsibility: advises some of Spain's leading listed companies on corporate governance and sustainability issues.
- Commercial Contracts and Corporate Law: provides recurring advice on board secretarial and commercial contracts, particularly to companies in the retail sector and the automotive industry, among others.
