Rufino Arce Foncueva is a senior associate in Garrigues' Litigation and Arbitration Department, where he has practiced since 2007. He is specialized in criminal law and compliance, civil and commercial litigation, arbitration, insolvency and family business. He deals with both litigation and advisory services in this area. He holds a degree in Law, and is also fluent in Spanish, English and French.

He has joined the firm in 2007 and has been a senior associate since 2012.

Rufino has broad expertise in criminal proceedings, providing advice on criminal compliance, crime prevention policies, civil liability arising from crime and other legal consequences of criminal offenses.

He is also specialized in civil and/or commercial proceedings, declaratory, special, execution, protective orders, among others, having been involved in all instances and in multiple bankruptcy proceedings at different stages.

Furthermore, Rufino has participated in national and international arbitration proceedings, both as arbitration secretary and in the defense of the position of either of the parties.

He also provides pre-litigation advice, drafting opinions, notes and reports.
