Pilar Navarro is an associate in the Labor and Employment Department of Garrigues, where her practice focuses on providing integral advice on labor matters to domestic and foreign companies.

She advises on individual and collective labor relations, including hiring of local and expatriate personnel, complex termination processes, collective bargaining, labor intermediation and outsourcing arrangements, as well as on immigration, social security, and occupational health and safety matters. She also has experience in labor inspections and in representing clients in labor-related court proceedings. As part of her transactional practice, she actively participates in the preparation of labor-related due diligence reports for corporate transactions.

  


She qualified as a lawyer at Universidad de Lima, with a specialization in dispute resolution.

Pilar joined Garrigues as an associate in 2024. Previously she worked as an intern and associate at Payet, Rey, Cauvi, Pérez Abogados (2019–2024).

Over the course of her career, she has advised national and international clients from a variety of sectors on the hiring of local and expatriate personnel, the structuring of compensation and benefit packages, and on termination processes and the negotiation of exit terms. She has experience in collective bargaining and labor union relations, in implementing labor intermediation and outsourcing arrangements, and in managing immigration procedures for expatriate personnel. 

  


She has also acted in labor inspections, represented and acted as counsel for clients in labor-related litigation before various courts, and advised on social security matters and the design of occupational health and safety management systems. In her transactional practice, she has participated in the preparation of labor-related due diligence reports in M&amp;A deals.
