Miguel Cortés currently works as a senior associate in the Antitrust and Litigation practice at the Bogotá office, where he focuses his practice on antitrust law, litigation, data protection and consumer law. He has advised public and private sector entities, as well as exercised their representation before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce and other court proceedings. He has extensive experience advising tecnology companies, e-commerce, Fintechs and finalcial institutions, among others.

Miguel Cortés Mosquera currently works as a senior associate in the Antitrust and Litigation practice at the Bogotá office. He has focused his practice on antitrust law, litigation, data protection and consumer law.

  


Miguel has advised a range of public and private sector entities on matters concerning investigations into anti-competitive practices, the design and implementation of data protection policies, and representation in court proceedings relating to unfair competition and consumer protection. Moreover, he was part of the advisory team for the Financial Regulation Unit in the expedition of the Open Finance framework and has also assisted various organizations in implementing these policies in their economic activities.

  


He also analyzes businesses transactions from the standpoint of free competition and merger control in Colombia.
