Martín Pedre has been counsel in the Tax Law Department of Garrigues since 2014, having joined the firm in 2006. In his professional practice he has participated in multiple projects in different sectors in the field of Tax and Accounting Law.

He has extensive experience in the provision of national tax advisory services and in tax and accounting year-end processes. He has been responsible for overseeing numerous business and corporate restructuring transactions, due diligence reviews and tax inspection and regularization proceedings.

He provides tax advice on a recurring basis to companies and groups, especially in the area of family businesses in different sectors (industrial, real estate, renewable energies, media, food, distribution and audiovisual, among others). In this field, he is a legal adviser to family groups, supporting the owners in decision-making and in shareholder/company relations.

He is an expert in tax and accounting consolidation and provides general advice on accounting law.

He coordinates the tax aspects of company acquisitions, debt restructuring and insolvency proceedings.

He was a lecturer in the Tax Consulting Executive Master's Degree program run by Centro de Estudios Garrigues and in Instituto Tecnológico Empresarial NovaCaixaGalicia.

He has lectured and taught for Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia and frequently speaks at courses and seminars relating to taxation.
