María González Salas is a senior associate in Garrigues' Corporate/Commercial Law Department, having joined the firm in 2018.

She specialises in commercial contracts, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and real estate, having extensive experience in the family business and hotel industries.

She has a degree in Law from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles, a Master's Degree in the Stock Exchange and Financial Markets from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles and an Executive Master's Degree in Business Legal Practice from the Centro de Estudios Garrigues. She has also given classes in the Faculty of Law of the University of Malaga.

She joined the firm in 2018 and is a senior associate since 2020.

She has participated in numerous business groups restructuring processes, as well as in the negotiation and formalization of Spanish and international commercial contracts. In corporate practice, she provides recurring advice to companies from a range of production sectors, having participated in numerous corporate dispute resolution processes. In real estate area, she offers ongoing advice to companies in the sector, with extensive experience in real estate transfer and acquisition processes.

Master’s Degree in the Stock Exchange and Financial Markets from Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (I.E.B.), Madrid, 2004-2009 academic year.

Executive Master’s Degree in Business Legal Practice from Centro de Estudios Garrigues in collaboration with Universidad Antonio de Nebrija, Madrid, 2017-2018 academic year.
