Makarena Faúndez Amigo is an associate in the Santiago office. Her practice focuses on banking and financial regulation, domestic and international bond issuances, corporate finance, and project finance. She advises domestic and international lenders and borrowers on the structuring and financing of energy and infrastructure projects, as well as acquisition finance transactions.

She holds a Law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and completed an academic exchange semester at the Universitat Autonoma of Barcelona, Spain.

In the academic field, she worked as a teaching assistant in Constitutional Law and as an examiner for the degree examination at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in the areas of Civil Law, Civil Procedure, and Public International Law.

Makarena has been with the firm since April 2024. Her practice includes the structuring, negotiation, and implementation of complex financing transactions, representing domestic and international clients across a broad range of transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a paralegal in the Real Estate practice group at Barros y Errázuriz Abogados.
