He has extensive experience in national and international tax audits. He provides advisory services to national and international companies on highly complex tax matters, particularly those referring to related-party transactions and international taxation, and he advises companies on tax refund procedures.

Over the course of his professional career, Luis Antonio has held important public offices, such as that of Central Audit Administrator and International Audit Administrator, both within the Large Taxpayers Division of the Tax Administration Service, where he spent more than 20 years. He also acted as the Mexican Delegate to Working Party 9 “Consumption Taxes” at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (“OECD”), and served as Mexican Assessor of Transparency and Exchange of Information at the OECD’s Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes.

Luis Antonio González is a partner in the Tax practice. He has extensive experience in national and international tax matters. He provides advisory services to both national and international companies on highly complex tax matters, particularly those referring to related parties and international taxes, and advises large and medium-size companies in tax refund procedures to speed up the recovery process, as well as provides strategic advice in tax audits to achieve a successful outcome minimizing contingencies.

He was named “Contributor” by Chambers and Partners for his participation in the Global Practice Guides – Tax Controversy 2022.

Luis Antonio is fluent in Spanish and English.
