Kevin Villanueva Sotomayor is an associate in the Litigation and Arbitration practice of Garrigues’ Lima office.
He has 4 years’ experience as a legal practitioner and specializes in economic civil law, arbitration and procedural law. Kevin has experience in national and international arbitration, both institutional and ad hoc and also in court proceedings, before civil and commercial courts.
He provides recurring advice in legal due diligence processes carried out for M&A transactions, financings and refinancings, bond issues and share issues. His participation in these proceedings consists, specifically, of identifying and assessing the risks involved in potential claims that could be brought to court, or which are already in progress.
He is assistant professor at Pontifica Universidad Católica del Perú, in the course on the law on contracts. He acted as assistant to the chair in Interim Relief for two years.
Kevin Villanueva Sotomayor is a member of the Lima Bar Association.
