Katiana is principal associate in the Corporate Law Department at Garrigues, where she has been working since 2011. She specialises in the areas of Data Economics, Privacy and Cybersecurity and has extensive experience in providing recurring advice and in the start-up of new business projects strictly linked to digital and technological law, including advice to platforms and e-commerce and advice on projects with a high privacy dimension. She also has experience in the management and handling of all types of proceedings before the Spanish Data Protection Agency, including security incidents.

Law Degree from the University of A Coruña, Master in Business Law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues and LL.M in International Transactions, Centro de Estudios Garrigues and Universidad Pablo de Nebrija.

He has extensive experience advising, from the conceptualisation of the business project to its implementation, companies from various sectors, with a special focus on technology companies. She has participated in numerous M&amp;A transactions in various sectors with a high digital component.

She has advised clients from various sectors on data protection matters, both in implementation, review and audit processes, as well as in contentious proceedings or security breaches. She has extensive experience in e-commerce contracting and digital platforms.

She is fluent in Spanish and English.
